This role sits within Access Partnership’s Geopolitical Advisory and Policy Advocacy Practice (formerly Asia Group Advisors) helps organizations identify and capture business opportunities and navigate complex regulatory, political, and economic issues in Asia. The role
We are looking for a senior public affairs professional to help lead our client service in Thailand and across the region, based in Bangkok.
As Senior Manager, you will own client relationships end-to-end: structuring solutions to complex political and regulatory challenges, leading day-to-day service and stakeholder engagement, and growing accounts by spotting new opportunities within existing and prospective clients. We need someone who thinks strategically, structures ambiguous issues into clear paths forward, and brings genuine creativity to how we advise clients. You will also mentor junior team members, including on structured problem solving and, depending on experience, take on greater responsibility for office management and client development.
You should be fluent in policy, with the ability to advise senior business executives with confidence and exceptional research skills, including demonstrated fluency in written English for policy, political, and issues analysis. Above all, we're looking for a sharp, creative problem-solver who can build trust with clients through clear and structured insights. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in government relations, corporate affairs, strategic communications, or management consulting and hold a degree in business, economics, political science, international relations, communications, law, or a related field.
What you will do:
Lead project work, including workstream structuring, research, presentation to clients and ensuring all deliverables are up to the highest quality
Structuring and proposing solutions and strategies to client challenges and issues and successfully implementing these strategies in pursuit of our clients’ interests
Building, maintaining, and managing client relationships as a trusted advisor to provide strategic advice and ensure client satisfaction
Overseeing the preparation, drafting and finalization of analytical reports
Building strong networks and relationships with bureaucrats and public officials, the business community, civil society organizations, government institutions and other relevant stakeholders
Supporting business development efforts, including the drafting of proposals and participation in pitches
Mentoring and developing junior consultants
What you will bring
Eight or more years’ experience in consulting, government relations, public affairs, or corporate affairs, of which at least two spent in consulting
Excellent interpersonal negotiation and communication skills
A flair towards building network
Excellent command of business English
Flexibility and adaptability to constantly changing priorities
A dynamic, self-starter, resilient and autonomous attitude with an appreciation of diversity and value of teamwork
A problem-solver, with high energy and a passion for finding solutions and creative thinking
Experience in digital economy and healthcare desirable
