Our Associates assume a high degree of project responsibility and lead daily client service and stakeholder engagements. Associates are also expected to play important mentorship roles for junior team members. Depending on a candidate’s skills and experience, s/he may assume the role of Associate with increased responsibilities in office management and client development.
We seek professionals with diverse backgrounds, including business, consulting, communications, or marketing, who have relevant experience and a strong interest in public affairs and government relations. S/he should have project management experience and be able to communicate with senior business executives. S/he should possess exceptional research skills and be able to demonstrate fluency in written English for policy, political, and issues analysis. The ideal candidate would have prior experience in government relations, corporate affairs, or strategic communications and possess a master’s degree in business, economics, political science, international relations, communications, law, or related fields.
What you'll do:
Client advisory and project leadership
- Lead the design and delivery of strategic advisory services for clients, including policy analysis, engagement strategies, and stakeholder engagement support
- Serve as the key client contact, managing project delivery, timelines, and quality control
- Provide strategic counsel to clients, including senior business executives and regional public affairs leads, on political, policy, and reputational risks
- Produce and oversee the drafting of client-ready briefings, political and policy analysis to ensure clients stay ahead of emerging trends and risks
Team management and firm development
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, helping to develop analytical, project management, and client service capabilities
- Contribute to internal knowledge-building and lead work with cross-functional teams
- Support the office in internal operations, strategic planning, and talent development as needed
Business development and stakeholder engagement
- Lead and support business development efforts, including identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and leading pitches
- Build and maintain networks with key stakeholders in government, business, civil society, and multilateral institutions
- Represent Access Partnership in external engagements and high-level forums to strengthen the firm’s brand and thought leadership position
What you'll need:
- 8 or more years of relevant experience in public affairs, corporate affairs, consulting, strategic communications, or related disciplines
- Proven track record in leading client accounts and delivering high-quality advisory support to business or government stakeholders
- Experience in developing new business opportunities and leading proposal development or pitch processes
- Deep understanding of Thailand’s political, policy, and regulatory environment and its impact on business strategy
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to synthesize complex issues and offer actionable insights
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, with mandatory fluency in both Thai and English (written and spoken)
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring teams, managing multiple priorities, and delivering under tight deadlines
- Master’s degree is preferred in a relevant field (e.g., business, political science, economics, law, international relations, or communications)
