The Team – Commercial Operations
You will report directly to our Global Bid Director, who leads the management of all contracts, bids, and proposals across the business globally. The team plays a critical role in ensuring effective conversion and delivery of bids, supporting business development initiatives across multiple regions through rigorous quality control.
What You’ll Do:
In this role, you will support a wide range of activities within the business development workflow(s) at Access Partnership. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Global Contract Management & Drafting:
- Support the drafting and review of contracts, including subcontracts, MSA’s, NDAs, and agreements with external partners such as subcontractors and senior advisors across various regions.
- Collaborate with external legal teams to ensure contract terms are compliant with local and international regulations.
- Facilitate procurement processes by requesting purchase orders and other relevant procurement documentation across global markets.
2. Global Review & Governance:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of proposals and pricing calculators to ensure they meet both internal standards and align with global compliance and governance protocols.
- Perform detailed risk assessments, factoring in regional legal, financial, and operational considerations to mitigate risks effectively within a global business environment.
- Partner with the executive team to obtain risk and budget approvals, ensuring alignment with both regional and company-wide business objectives.
3. Commercial Operations Support Across Regions:
- Support the Commercial Operations team, contributing to pricing discussions and providing comprehensive reports on the status of opportunities.
- Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of proposals and bids, ensuring cross-functional teams across different regions meet deadlines and adhere to processes.
- Maintain and optimize global trackers and tools that provide visibility into opportunity stages and contractual obligations across different countries.
What You’ll Need:
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively engage with stakeholders across multiple regions and seniority levels.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage and streamline multiple global projects simultaneously.
- A highly proactive and autonomous approach to work, with proven experience in problem-solving and taking ownership of tasks within a global setting.
- In-depth understanding of global project management principles, particularly in risk identification, mitigation, and international stakeholder management.
- Experience with comprehensive contract management and legal document review, preferably across consulting, technology, or government services sectors and multiple global regions.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with global bid management processes or experience working in international Management Consulting, Legal, Technology, or Government sectors.
- Experience working with NGOs, multilateral organizations, or large-scale global clients such as USAID, the Asian Development Bank, or similar entities.
- Relevant project management certification (PMP, Agile, PRINCE2, or APM).
- Legal qualifications or demonstrated experience working closely with global legal teams.
