You will work alongside some of industry’s most influential thought leaders and be responsible for delivering client objectives and helping to grow the practice in all regions of the world.
About the Team – Economics Strategy
We are a team of economists, econometricians, and public policy advisors.
We enable our clients from the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors, to make better informed decisions by leveraging rigorous analysis supported by robust evidence, with the purpose to drive growth and improve well-being for themselves as well as the communities they are part of.
We combine the robustness of economic analysis with a practical appreciation of business and government, to support our clients in making and communicating their critical investment and public policy decisions.
What you can expect to be doing:
As an Intern, you will experience being part of project teams working on a diverse range of topics, including in digital transformation, economic development, the future of work, and sustainability. You will support the project team in developing research methodologies (including primary research), developing approaches to data analysis (including econometrics), conducting hands-on research and analysis, and drafting impactful client reports.

We are looking for candidates who enjoy working in a dynamic, high-performing, small team environment. You will have a strong background in either economics, econometrics, or public policy, and have a passion for working with clients to solve real world problems. You will also be intellectually curious and take pride in the quality of your outputs. The role is ideal for candidates who want to work on challenges at the intersection of economics, public policy, and technology.
What you will bring
Essential
- Penultimate or final year university students, and recent graduates
- Undergraduate degree in Economics from a reputable university, and a strong academic track record. Relevant degrees in other disciplines, such as statistics and public policy, will also be considered.
- Evident interest in and an understanding of economics, public policy, and business.
- Curiosity to work in professional services / consulting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong problem-solving ability, written and verbal communication, and be comfortable with quantitative methods.
- Leadership potential, as demonstrated through work experience or extracurricular activities.
Desirable
- Relevant work experience, such as with management consulting firms, or government agencies.
